A traditional service of Holy Communion using Common Worship or Book of Common Prayer, celebrating the seasons of the church. Hymns from Common Praise ably led by our organist, Gillian Martin, and readings by members of the congregation.

Stoke Holy Cross:

Cafe Church on the first Sunday in the month. 10.30 – 11.30am Come and have breakfast with us, and enjoy an informal style of worship, suitable for all ages, where you can choose from a menu of spiritual food.

On 2nd, 3rd and 4th Sundays at 10.30am there is a less formal service (than in the other churches of the Venta Group), usually of Holy Communion, which is varied and with Sunday Club provision for children aged 2 upwards. Sung worship is highly valued and led by groups of musicians and vocalists. Everyone is encouraged to be involved through reading, praying, using creative skills, the occasional drama, sharing and caring, serving and helping.

On a 5th Sunday at 10.30am there is a service in one of the four churches within the Venta Group, where we all worship together in the style of the host church.

Stoke Holy Cross Celebration 3rd Sunday in the month at 6.30pm A very informal service where the focus is sung worship, in-depth teaching and prayer ministry. An oasis for many who come from neighbouring churches to be refreshed by Holy Spirit. The evening ends with coffee or hot chocolate, and cake and opportunity to chat!

St Georges Hall: First Sunday in the month a traditional service of Holy Communion in an informal setting, with a mix of traditional and modern sung worship, where, on occasions, there is space for creative prayer. Holy Communion is shared in the round with one another.

Each Sunday there is also a service in Caistor St Edmund, varying from traditional Holy Communion (Common Worship) and BCP Morning Prayer, to Taize and Family Service. Details available at caistorstedmundchurch.co.uk. And on 2nd Sunday, at 9 am, Holy Communion at Arminghall and 4th Sunday Evening Prayer or a special family service (3pm- Autumn/Winter and 6.30pm Spring/Summer)
